Semester Accepting Rotations - fall/spring

Research area - research is focused on determining the host pathogen interactions that take place during bacterial infections. Specifically, the laboratory works to understand how different Brucella species, bacterial pathogens of swine, cattle and humans, causes chronic infections in various mammalian species.

Semester Accepting Rotations - Fall/Spring

Research area - investigates the interactions between host and bacterial pathogens with regards to mucosal immunity and inflammatory diseases of the bowel. He is particularly interested in the role normal flora has on development of mucosal immunity and mechanisms of antigen-specific T cell responses to regulate inflammation.

Semester Accepting Rotations - Fall/Spring

Research area - using genomics to understand how genes control biological processes at the molecular and cellular level. I am primarily interested in how gene expression controls many aspects of growth, reproduction, and disease resistance.
