IMBIO 602 is a yearly workshop offered every fall semester. All PhD and MS students are required to take this course each year that they are enrolled in the program. With the central topic for the seminar series changing each year, every course offering is different and brings forward new learning opportunities.

Through participation in the fall workshops, graduate students are exposed to cutting-edge research in immunology. In providing opportunities to interact with visiting lecturers, IMBIO 602 students are able to collaborate with leading immunologists, learning first-hand what research is being conducted at other universities and research institutions. It is a great opportunity for collaboration between students, faculty and professional scientists, both here at Iowa State University and elsewhere.
